Breckenridge Winter Adventure

WARNING: Picture Overload (I can't help it, I love to document everything!)

Paisley has experienced her first snow!!! Pops is incredible and planned a wonderful ski trip to Breckenridge, Colorado as an after Christmas adventure. We flew out of Charlotte on December 28th at 7:44am and arrived in Denver at 9:40am (two hour time difference). It was Paisley's first plane ride and she did great...she napped for most of it. Sebastian has always been tough on planes and he stayed true to character on this flight, but we all made it here.

Her "why the heck are we up so early" face!

Whoa, this is cool!

Riding in style through Denver airport.

"I can touch you!"

There was a slight problem at Avis with unreturned vehicles so we had to sit around at the airport for longer than we had hoped but it was fine.

"Just standing, Ma...like a big girl."

They fit great!

We had a fairly happy ride to Breckenridge.

The house is absolutely amazing! There are 20 family members participating in the trip and we are all comfortably (not stuffed like usual and btw the 20 are just siblings, spouses and grand babies) staying in the house!

We played in the snow for a little bit when we arrived and then went out to dinner.

He adores his cousins...they are inseparable!

My little pink bear.

Daddy and his bundled babies.

Ready for her night out on the town!

Today was an all day ski day so Sebastian, Paisley and I stayed home to be lazy and enjoy the snow!

The day started bright and early at 7:30am...with this gorgeous view.

Then got interrupted with this adorable view...gotta love a man with his newspapers.

We bundled all up to play in the snow.

She has figured out that she can touch him...he loves it though.

She was indifferent about this crazy white stuff!

He is getting so good when I ask him to take a picture with Paisley.

My mini me!

He loves the snow!

Goofing around.

Loving on Mamie.

That's all for now :)

12 Days of Christmas Recap

So, I successfully completed our first year of 12 Days of Christmas for my True Love! Jonathan LOVED it so it will definitely remain a tradition for years to come.

Here is a re-cap on what the 12 days looked like:

1.) Ray-Ban P Sunglasses

2.) Two Movie Tickets (to see Thor 2)

3.) Three Pairs of Boxers

4.) A Mouse Pad with Four Pictures On It

5.) A Bag of Take 5 Chocolate Bars

6.) A Six Aspect Date that Included: 1- A New Tie 2- No Kids 3-Porsche 4- Bonefish Grill Dinner 5- Tickets to the Christmas Symphony 6- Box of Chocolates for Dessert

7.) A Seven Stick Bouquet of Lindt Chocolates

8.) Eight Pairs of Dress Socks

9.) Nine Hidden Love Letters for My True Love to Find

10.) Ten Ounces of Chocolatey Kisses (Can of Hersey's Kisses)

11.) Eleven Homemade Cookies

12.) A Twelve Month Calendar Filled with Pictures of His Family

The two dates were by far his favorite days but it was all fun. I had a blast making him so excited each day...I hid all of the presents the night before WITHOUT him realizing it...even though he knew I had to do it at some point. I definitely recommend starting this tradition with your loved one! It is a great way to show them you love them and have taken some time to think about JUST THEM. When we have children, we sometimes lose our ability to spoil our significant others...this tradition forces you to make time for the one you fell head over heels with.
