Easter Bunny

We were walking around the mall yesterday and just happened by an Easter Bunny with no line! So, naturally, we just had to stop and have Sebastian visit with the Easter Bunny for the first time. He has started to get into the stranger phase but it is definitely not in full swing yet, so he was fasinated by all the white fur!

He smiled nice and big at Jonathan and I trying to get his attention...the TV with the movie HOP playing on it, made Sebastian lose focus once or twice.

But all in all he did very well...he is just so photogenic, I wish I looked that good on camera...

I hope everyone is planning to have a wonderful Easter, I am definitely looking forward to celebrating Sebastian's first one with him!

Huge Milestone

Sebastian can sit up!!! A huge milestone crossed off the list! We are still working on the rolling over trick but he can now sit up, with only a watchful eye to catch him every now and then.

He is a tad bit wobbly but he just overnight was suddenly able to sit up.

He also has not lost his love of mirrors...

We tried out Sebastian's shopping cart cover...he is not quite big enough yet but he enjoyed it anyway.

He is growing so fast that it is hard to keep up. At work, I have had to get pretty creative to keep him occupied. He is a HUGE fan of Nick Jr. so I went out to get some DVD's.

Sebastian will be in kindergarden before I know it! Some pictures of the little guy and I at work:

UPDATE ON BABY WESLEY:

Little Wesley is quite the fighter, he is a tough little guy. He is still in serious condition in the level 3 NICU on all life support. Kristyn says his little personality is starting to show through, he is not fond of having his diaper changed and he peed on his Daddy! He had to undergo surgery to have a drainage tube to bypass his bowels and he needs heart surgery once his little body is strong enough. His brain bleed has not gotten any worse since the last scan. It is just a waiting game now, Kristyn and Patrick take it day by day. he had a difficult night last night as his Blood Pressure kept dropping. Please keep up the prayers, they are working. His big brother, sweet little Jackson, is in heaven watching over him!

If I was a Stay-at-Home-Mom...

Everyone likes to dream a little...SO...if I was a stay at home mom, my house would be much cleaner than it is now! My garden would be immaculate...I mean not a weed in sight or dirt showing through the mulch! I would probably spend most of my time gardening, I would certainly do more vegetable growing. I do pretty good with keeping the flowers up despite working, but it would be lovely to spend more time outdoors and less time at my desk.

If you think I am crazy about projects around the house now, just imagine if I stayed home all day long staring at my blank walls and unfinshed projects! I would go nuts!!! We would have a new decoration every day!

We would never have dust bunnies hang around, I can't stand not having enough time when I get home to do the necessary cleaning...I hate when cleaning takes over my weekend!

I WOULD COOK A HOME COOKED MEAL EVERY SINGLE NIGHT (EXPECT SATURDAY NIGHT, DATE NIGHT)! I hate eating processed foods and take out crud! I would love to try all those pinterest recipes I have been dying to test! Fresh, Fresh, Fresh food would be my motto.

I am getting better at making things at home, we have been baking a lot of chicken.

If I was a stay at home mom, I would spoil my little boy rotten! We would go to the park several times a week, visit the library, join a play group, do mama and baby yoga together, visit the pool or play in the sprinklers daily and make a homemade project with a different material every afternoon.

With a face like that, how could I not spoil him?!?

Well, if I were staying home all day, I would obviously get bored from time to time so I would have to take up a hobby...I think Sebastian and I would be a great crazy modeling mom and son duo! OMG...he would sell everything he modeled!

That tie is clearing off the shelves as we speak.

Just look at those expressions!!! He is just like his Daddy!

So, IF I were a stay at home mom...I would be just as busy as I am now....BUT...

I already have my perfect life!!! I am a boss, a wife and a Mom, what more could I possibly want!!!

The Twins are HERE!!!

Kristyn and Patrick's Twin Boys decided to come into this world way before they were due. Kristyn delivered the boys at only 24 weeks by emergency c-section on March 13, 2012. The surgery went as well as can be expected and little Wesley Harrison Lindsey came out first weighing 1.4 lbs and is 12 in. long.
Jackson William Lindsey came out a minute later weighing 1.8 lbs and is also 12 in. long. Both boys were transferred to a level 3 NICU at the Children's hospital and are doing well. They both are needing assistance breathing and have ventilators but they are doing very well considering the circumstances. Little Jackson has some blonde hair and both boys are not able to open their eyes yet but they look so cute. Wesley was the busybody in the womb and Jackson was more mellow so I guess we will see if they stick to that MO.

I do not have very great pictures but I will post what I have.

This is Jackson...

and this is little Wesley...

Sebastian's 1st time at Riverbanks Zoo

We decided to spend this FABULOUS weekend...with our weather at a beautiful 68 degrees...taking Sebastian to the zoo for the first time. I knew he wouldn't be able to really enjoy it or understand what was going on but I figured we would start his love of animals and the great outdoors, young.
So, we packed up the car with the stroller, plenty of diapers, wipes, a few spare outfits, and a hat for the baby, seeing as it was going to be sunny all day.

The 2 hour drive seemed well worth the much needed outdoor time...we stopped for some lunch along the way and arrived at the park, ready to go, at 1pm. Much to our surprise, we were not the only ones who had thought up this brilliant plan for their Saturday...the line was ridiculous...it wound around the park. We sighed an aggrivated sigh and then stood in line for about twenty minutes to get tickets. we ended up buying season tickets (they were the equivilent of two visits, which I knew we would be going back at least once this year) and finally made it into the park.

We went to see the lions first, they are my favorites!!! Conveinently, they were having a lazy day and just laid there! But they were cool to see anyway...

Sebastian seemed to be enjoying the fresh air. He also liked looking at the parrots...we tried feedimg them but they weren't very hungry.

We went on to see the monkeys, bears, tigers, tons of birds, reptiles, fish, giraffes, zebras, alligators, and kangaroos.

We enjoyed a frozen slushy as we walked around.. We also got to see the Elephants as close as a TV to the couch, they were very social while we were there. I entertained Sebastian by tossing him up and down...he loves it!

There was also an awesome river with huge boulders in it right next to the zoo, so we took a little walk down to the water for a bit.

So, that was our Saturday...today we hung out at the house, did some gardening and watched the 2nd Lord of the Rings movie in a effort to see the whole series in one weekend!

Sebastian and I had to find other ways to entertain ourselves during the film.

I also had to take a snack break...Sebastian needed a break from breastmilk and I wanted to see his face when he tried carrots!

Love those bright blue eyes!!! Our photographer just finshed with his four month photos tonight. So, I'll be posting those soon... they are so adorable!!!
