Baby on the Way!!!

EXCITING NEWS!!!
Jonathan and I are expecting a baby!

This is how I told Jonathan that he was going to be a Daddy!

A week or so later, we delivered this box to my mom and dad, full of the exciting news! They were very excited. My mom's reaction was fabulous and super stoked, my dad's was more of the shock factor reaction. But they are both excited to be grandparents again.
I sent similar boxes to all my siblings and to some of Jonathan's family. We were able to capture their reactions on camera through the wonderful technology called Skype! So, I will post their video's soon! My little sister, Kelly had probably the best reaction to the news! It was shock and excitement and planning all in one :)

Here is the little one, affectionately nicknamed by Kamerin and Samuel as "Peanut." This was taken a little bit ago, so it should be bigger now :) It is so amazing to think that there is a little person growing inside of me and that in a few months we will get to see what characteristics it got from Jonathan and which it got from me. I do hope it gets my blond hair but his green eyes!

We are very excited and can't wait to meet the little one in November!

Hopping into Spring!

Spring is in the air!!!
Spring in Indian Trail, NC at the Dean household!

This is my gorgeous wisteria plant, flowering for the first time!

My miniature rose bush that has grown four times its size in one season and is blooming like crazy! It looks so pretty on the side of the house!

Here are our new nest of eggs! This is probably going to be the first of 5 or 6 nests we have this year, in the same plant!!! Last year, one of our hanging plants successfully raised 22 little hatchlings throughout spring and summer!

I work in a Freezer

I am currently sitting at my desk and unusually have nothing that needs to be worked on ASAP! It's a miracle! It's also a good thing cause I work in a freezer and its so cold in my office that my fingers can hardly type correctly. One of the employees I work with insists on keeping the environment ice cold all the time. I don't think it ever reaches above 68 degrees in here! I try to prepare and wear warm clothing but somehow, I always end up frozen all day long. It doesn't help that the vent is directly above my chair and blows ever so wonderfully directly onto my cold arms. Goosebumps have become a constant as well. The blueish purple color of my skin tells nothing but the truth about how cold it is in this office.

I have tried to reason with the employee but she insists that it is just to hot in here all the time. I personally think she must be going through menopause or something! Anywho....just wanted to vent for a few minutes about my discomfort! Hope everyone is doing well and is a lot warmer than I am!

Spring is Here!

This is the absolutely beautiful view of the cherry blossom trees outside of my office building! It is wonderful to watch them all blow off of the trees and wisp across the parking lot. I wish I could take the roof off of our building to enjoy the breeze.

I love spring...everything looks so beautiful outside. My garden at home is all in bloom, its so gorgeous! I will post pictures of that next...just thought I would share the beautiful view.

Good Wednesday Morning

This morning has proved to be beautiful but also exhausting, I could barely drag myself out of bed. After a cup of tea and some redirecting I am finally starting to feel alive, 2 1/2 hours after I woke up! I need sleep, looks like I will be snoozing late into Saturday morning in an attempt to catch up on last weekends lost sleep! Your body most definitely NEEDS those weekend naps and long mornings, when they are interupted by work emergencies (like mine was) you spend the entire week trying to catch up!

I am very hopeful that the caffine in my cup of tea will kick in soon and the beautiful weather outside will help me jumpstart! I am hoping and praying that today will be an easy day at work! I need at least one easy one a week!

I hope everyone is doing well! I love reading all of your updates and tall tales! It makes me feel like I am a part of your lives.

Until next time, TA TA!

Looong time...

Well, it has been way too long since I posted on here, not because I don't LOVE all of my followers but more on the side of that I haven't had a second to actually sit down and type up my thoughts! This past weekend I was the designated driver for every one's spring break plans ugh! I had to take my parents and little brothers to the airport on Saturday morning at 7am, then Pierce, Kelly and their friends to the airport Sunday morning at 4am! Luckily, Jonathan took the 4am drive (thank you baby)! Since then, I have spent the entire week of what was supposed to be spring break but (working girls don't get spring breaks) so I have been handling crisis after crisis at work!

There was one in particular that I am happy to report ended in a saved life. One of our Mentally Retarded/Developmentally Delayed clients tried to eat a roll too quickly and although seemed fine enough to walk to the kitchen and put up his plate, was anything but. He collapsed several minutes later and his AFL worker quickly sprang into action to perform CPR! He continued until EMS arrived and our client, though in serious condition in the ICU, is alive because of the great work of our employee. That's why we do this job! He will be in the ICU for several days but will hopefully make a full recovery and be back to his normal routine in no time at all.

These are the situations we deal with on a daily basis...which is why I never have time to do much of anything other than work!

My weekend this coming week will consist of picking everyone up! Kelly, Pierce and the clan get back into town Saturday night at 11:45pm, thank you guys! And Mom and Dad and the boys will need to be picked up Monday night at 6:30pm. I will learn to love the airport!

So, not a very intriguing post but I got one on here none the less.

Salut! For now!
