New Design...

I am trying to give my tired blog a new look, but I have not been able to find a background that I like...so this is the temporary new look :)

Here's some cute pictures for you though:

He loves Dates!

So cute in a messy sort of way!

Payback!

Just want to give a shout out to my awesome son...who got his Daddy back for me...Jonathan has always thought it was hilarious that Sebastian peed on me 3 times during his newborn photoshoot. Well, it was his turn this time! While getting him ready for his bath, Jonathan was holding the little tike...naked...for just a tad bit too long...
He had pee all down his shirt, down his jeans, in his socks and all over the floor! That warm rush was not the sensation he was wanting to feel, lol...but I was dying laughing!

Hillbilly Bash

I decided to dress my child like a hillbilly on Friday. Since all of his outfits are either too small, too big or in the laundry pile...this was the only one left.

He does look like an ADORABLE little hillbilly! The hat completes the whole outfit! We actually had to use the hat because of the horrible hair day he was having.

I am not sure if hillbilly was better than Dr. Seuss or not?

With Uncle Kamerin
We also went out for Ice Cream with Mamie...

Sebastian looked even more spiffy in his button down shirt and jeans...

Today, was Sebastian's four month photo shoot....he did WONDERFUL and was in a great mood the whole time! We had lots of smiles and I am SUPER excited to see the pictures!

We had a very smiley evening last night, we took advantage and snapped some shots of our own.

What?1?
Don't kiss me Dad!

ALSO, playroom update...I finished the alphabet wall and I LOVE IT!!! It was so much fun to make and looks awesome...my little guy will know all of his letters before he can even talk!
They seem to like it to!

It has been a successful week...I also got the snack machine in so I'll update on that endeavor after we try it out!

Entrepreneur Endeavor

So, the idea came up at my office of wouldn't it be nice to have a vending machine at work and maybe even a snack machine! This got the wheels in my head turning...Sam has been looking for something good to invest his money in and a way to have some responsibility. So, we made a deal and started a partnership. I was responsible for the machines and he was responsible for re-filling and maintaining them.

Our little venture got underway on Monday, when I found the vending machines on craigslist. We went to pick them up today, an hour drive, not too bad. Sam, Jonathan, Sebastian and I set out at 12:30 today...the gentleman selling them was very nice and we were on our way home in no time at all.

The machines were strapped onto the trailer!
The boys, ready to head back home!
I was the navigator and deal maker!
Little man snoozed for most of the trip!
Once we arrived at the office, the boys unloaded our new machine and Sam and I headed to out to get some products to put into the machines.

Sam stocked it all up!
We had quite the selection...I think it looked wonderful!
We are very proud of our little endeavor!!!
Any ideas on a name for our refreshment services???

Yay for the Weekend!!!

Thank the Lord the weekend has arrived and I have no place to be but home! After traveling 30 hours last weekend, going to work Monday and two doctor appointments in addition to work, it has been a tiring week.

On a good note, lots of cream and a medicine change has eased Sebastian's rash/redness. He has been in a remarkably good mood this week, minus Monday! I think we can thank a large blowout on Tuesday morning for that one. We will be getting those bowels on a regular schedule so his tummy isn't so troublesome.

Not to toot my own horn but I do have to say that I have one ADORABLE little boy! He has the most expressive face and the cutest smile and laugh in the world. He just loves it when Mama talks to him and makes him giggle. His giggle is hard to find but I know the secret spots. His eyes get bluer everyday and his hair is ridiculously long for a four month old. I am so excited, we are going to be taking his four month professional photos next weekend. They were supposed to be tomorrow but since he developed the rash, we scooted them back another week. They will be SOOOOO CUTE!!! I am SO FREAKING EXCITED ABOUT THEM!

He is definitely a water baby!
At his four month checkup he weighed in at 16.2 lbs and 25.5 inches long. He went from the 25th percentile at his two month checkup to the 75th percentile...he sailed right on past that 50 percentile...growing like a weed!

Look at that belly!
The untamed hair!
A sorta smile!
Makin brownies with daddy!

He got distracted!

"That's enough pictures, MA!"

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Jonathan and I had an early Valentine's Day last week to avoid all of the crowds. We did still go out to a quaint little Mexican Restaurant this evening with the kiddo.

It was a nice laid back meal and actual good time with Sebastian...he behaved the whole meal, no meltdowns. We actually had just come from the Gastro doctor for a follow-up visit. We were looking forward to this visit because on Monday we (Me) had reached our breaking point with the little man. It was all that I could do not to just join in the crying, he was screaming at the top of his lungs from sun up to sun down, he fussed through his meals, scream through diaper changes and took four fifteen minute naps all day long. I barely had a chance to breath all day long. He was miserable! This describes most of our days together, we have few what we call "happy days." We have been getting more "happy days" since he started taking his Zantac but still far from normal. Also, since he has started taking Zantac, we noticed a small rash on his legs that has spread uncontrollably. It now covers about 70% of his little body.
So, as you can see we were happily awaiting this follow-up appointment. I am not very fond of our gastro doctor either, I love our pediatrician, who we see tomorrow morning for his 4 month visit, but the gastro doctor is not all that helpful. I am really quite tired of hearing, "well I think you have one of the fussiest babies I've ever met, but your doing a wonderful job, you have wonderful patience!" Thank you fine doctor for that observation but can you please help me figure out why I have such a fissy baby seeing as he is gaining the perfect amount of weight each visit and eats like a growing boy. He did not offer too much help this visit either. He immediately took the poor little guy off of the Zantac as he thinks he is the fabulous 1% of the population who is allergic to it. We are going to see if this rash goes away now that we discontinued the Zantac. He put him instead on Prevacid, a stronger antacid. It has a wonderful $45.00 co-pay after insurance :) We have our fingers crossed that it will work a little better then the last medicine.

Well, I will give another update after our morning appointment. I am going to go enjoy some Valentine's Day brownies that my fabulous husband and adorable little guy are making :) They smell sooooo good!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

Twin's Baby Shower

I am hosting a baby shower for Kristyn's twin boys due this July 4th! I have themed it as Thing 1 and Thing 2 and am having so much fun finding ideas and things to go along with it. It is such a fun theme :) During our exhaustingly long trip to Michigan this past weekend, I made a cute wreath to hang on the door.

I think it turned out pretty nice...I have so many ideas its not even funny...these twins are spoiled already!
