Holiday Preparations

It's been a little quiet on the blog, sorry about that...October was jam packed with activities and November has not been any quieter, thanksgiving is only a week away! Are you as surprised about this as I am? I know I am making Snickerdoodle cheesecake but other than that I am stumped...I guess I better consult the cookbooks! I haven't even had time to decorate for thanksgiving...which means I will skip and go right on into the Christmas boxes. Everything is so exciting with Sebastian being old enough to at least be curious about what's going on.

We put up two trees every year (excluding helping with the grandparent's tree) one in the entranceway that's more fantastical and is fake and then a real one in the living room for all the family ornaments. I am going to try to get the fake one up this weekend to get a jump start. Our family tradition is to go get our real trees at a choose and cut farm the weekend after thanksgiving so it's going to be fun!

We are also going to take a Polar Express adventure through the mountains! I'll be sure to do a post on that fun filled evening.

On another note, Sebastian and Paisley had check-ups last week...healthy as horses! Sebastian got his flu shot and Paisley got two of the four vaccines she needed...we go back next week for the other two. We were hoping that by splitting them up, she would handle the side effects better...so far so good.

Paisley has begun to taste baby foods and she loves it! She wants everything she sees you put in your mouth. I don't let her have meat, peanut butter, milk or anything too hard but otherwise I let her taste. She has become a master at sitting up unassisted and this week has been pulling to her knees like a pro...this girl wants to move! She is my fashionista and I love it! It is so much fun to dress up little girls!

Sebastian's vocabulary is getting broader, he now says "bai-pee" Paisley, "ow" out, "on", "iwan" I want, "TB" tv, "he-whoa" hello, "bow" bolt/movie and so many more adorable ones! He is such a sweetheart...he is obsessed with his baby sister...loves her to death. He must say good morning and good night to her. He has developed a real fear/hate for crying/sad babies...we cannot watch Toy Story 3 because the "big baby" in it cries and he gets too upset! There are a few other films that are on the no list due to this reason as well. Love that quirky little guy...he has also grown a love for puzzles, iPad ones or real...such a problem solver!

Anywho, just a quick update from this household... Some pictures to admire:

The Magic of Disney World!

There are no words to describe how awesome it was to see Sebastian in all the magic of Disney World! He is not old enough to really comprehend everything but it did not make him enjoy anything any less. Of course, I photo spammed most of you during the trip but here are some pictures from my real camera and hopefully I will be able to get some of the videos up too.

We stayed at the fabulous Art of Animation Resort, Nemo Suite which I cannot recommend enough! The resort was fabulous and magical and had so much to see and do that you probably didn't even need to book tickets to the parks.

The water features at our resort! The sculptures or giant displays were just amazing...we stayed in the building with Mr. Ray!

Paisley looking adorable in her bathing suit!
